| Can
premiums be taken directly from my bank account? |
|
Yes. United
American offers Automatic Payment Plan (Monthly Bank Draft) on all its
products as a convenient, efficient way to pay premiums.
|
| Is it true that my claims come directly to you from Medicare? |
|
For a small monthly fee, UA's Medicare Supplement customers can subscribe to UA Partners®, our optional, noninsurance discount health services program, which offers discounts on eye care, hearing aids, chiropractic treatment, dental care, and more. UA Partners customers also get the convenience of "Automatic" Claims Filing®(ACF). ACF virtually eliminates the hassles of filing Medicare Part B doctors' claims and helps ensure there are no lost or misfiled claims. With ACF, it is not uncommon for claims to be processed before Medicare's Explanation of Benefits arrive.
|
| Will
you pay my providers directly? |
|
Yes. If
you are a UA Medicare Supplement policyholder subscribing to UA
Partners with "Automatic" Claims
Filing® service, payments will be made directly to your providers who
accept Medicare assignment.

|
Does United American offer help on any prescription drugs? |
|
Yes. You
can save up to 30% on retail prescription drugs and up to 45% on mail
order prescriptions with our optional, noninsurance UA Partners®
discount health services program*, which
can be added to any of our life or health products.
Also, individuals enrolled in Medicare Parts A and/or B are eligible for prescription drug coverage under Medicare Part D.
